Receiverships

Whether we are court appointed or retained independently, O’Keefe & Associates provides the necessary knowledge and experience to secure, protect and preserve the remaining value of a business or real estate venture.  Receiverships are used where control of the cash flow and/or assets of the business are best handled by a third party.  Receivership often makes more sense than bankruptcy especially for small to mid-size businesses because it is less expensive and provides for more flexibility in dealing with issues versus the strict confines of the bankruptcy code.
